Cure responded to the Escalante family after a tragic house fire claimed the lives of Ruvi and Ana Escalante. CURE and the California Professional Association of Specialty Contractors (CALPASC) and its members united to build the Escalante family their new home.

The renovation of 540 N. Palm was made possible by a donation from Terry Tuell and the EOC Local Conservation Corps. A family now happily lives in the home.

3150 E. Balch was rehabilitated in partnership with the Local Conservation Corps. After the rehabilitation process a family moved in and enjoys their new home. “Being able to afford a home, as a mom, makes me feel independent.
