Cure responded to the Escalante family home after a tragic house fire in the in Calwa claimed the lives of two sisters, Ruvi and Ana Escalante. CURE and the California Professional Association of Specialty Contractors (CALPASC) and its members, which include Builders Flooring, Elia Painting, Enterprise Site Control, Impact Finishes, Scott Interiors, Terry Tuell Concrete, and Merzon Industries, united to build the Escalante family there new home.

The renovation of 540 N. Palm was made possible by a donation from Terry Tuell and the EOC Local Conservation Corps. A family now happily lives in the home.

3150 Balch Ave
3150 E. Balch was rehabilitated in partnership with the Local Conservation Corps. After the rehabilitation process a family moved in and enjoys their new home. “Being able to afford a home, as a mom, makes me feel independent. CURE has made all this possible,” Rebecca Romero homeowner of the Balch Ave. home.
